Yza Ramirez BSW, MSW, RSW
Helping children and youth heal and grow is what I love to do. I have experience working with a range of mental health and trauma-related concerns. I’ve worked with children and youth who have gone through abuse and crisis situations. I have also worked with children and youth diagnosed with ADHD, PTSD, ASD, attachment disorder, depression, anxiety, and global developmental delay. I have experience helping children, youth and families with daily life matters and skills-building to crisis situations.
My little family consists of my husband, our Bichon Frise named Zeus, a baby boy - they all keep me busy at all times. However, I also love to sing, play the piano, bass and a little bit of guitar. I sing and play at our church together with my husband and friends.
As a Filipino immigrant in Canada, I take it as a personal responsibility and an honour to work with my Indigenous brothers and sisters. My goal is to continue to do so for as long as I can.
